Michael Zauner is assistant professor at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria. He received his master's degree in Automation Engineering at Wels campus 2013 and his bachelor's degree in Sensor Technology and Microsystems in 2009. Before his time at the university, he worked for the company Fronius as a development engineer for hardware and software.
Michael Zauner is one of the main co-founders of the university's robot team, which has been successfully participating in national and international robot competitions since 2006. His current research projects and interests lie in environmental perception, navigation and mapping for autonomous mobile robots.
